I graduated from Mississippi State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Go Dawgs!
I am highly qualified in Mississippi to teach Elementary Education in grades K-8 (endorsements 152 and 117), English in grades 7-12 (endorsement 119), and I also hold a Remedial Reading endorsement for grades K-12 (endorsement 174).
I have been teaching since 2004. I taught for 2 years at Horn Lake Intermediate. I taught for one year at Southwind Middle School, and have been at Chickasaw Elementary since 2008! I taught for a few years as a part-time Interventionist while my children were younger, and then I went back into the classroom as a fulltime 2nd grade teacher in 2011. Chickasaw Elementary School is a huge part of my heart.
