About Me!

Hello! My name is Ms. Williams, and I am excited to begin the new school year with an amazing group of students!

Bio

 I completed my student teaching with The University of Mississippi at Chickasaw in second grade! I am very thankful I get to continue my teaching journey in second grade at Chickasaw! I graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education, and I also have an Associate Degree through Northwest Mississippi Community College. I love trying fun new things, so everyday in my class will be  new adventure!

Education

I attended Northwest Mississippi Community College and graduated with an Associate Degree. Then, I attended The University of Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded a Taylor Medal from The University of Mississippi. 

Experience

My experience began at Lewisburg Primary School where I started my student observations during my junior at The University of Mississippi. After I completed my student observations at Lewisburg Primary, I went to Walls Elementary School to continue my student observations and teaching. I was then placed at Chickasaw for two semesters. At  Chickasaw Elementary School , I was in front of students everyday and had multiple responsibilities both in and out of the classroom. In the classroom, I was responsible for planning units, teaching units, conducting small groups, helping with classroom management, and providing overall support to every student. I am very thankful to get to continue my teaching journey in second grade at Chickasaw!
