I graduated from Mt. Juliet High School right outside of Nashville, Tennessee. I attended Middle Tennessee State University where I received my degree in Elementary Education grades 1-8. When I came to Mississippi I received a license to teach Elementary Education grades K-3, Elementary grades 4-8 and Mildly / Moderate Disabilities K-12. I now have my Master's degree in Special Education from Arkansas State University.
I have taught in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Mississippi. I ran my own daycare center and was the lead teacher at a daycare, that at the the time was licensed to be the largest daycare in the country. I was the MET Chairperson over the Special Education Department for 10 years. I now have my Master's in Special Education.
Hello, My name is Virginia "Ginny" Frey. I have been teaching at Chickasaw for 18 years in the self-contained Special Education room and have loved every minute of it. Before that I taught in Tennessee and Pennsylvania. I live in Olive Branch with my husband, Bobby, of 33 years and my daughter Samantha who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ole Miss.
