About the Teacher

My name is Courtney Nichols. I was born and raised in Greenville, MS and moved to DeSoto County with my family while I was in college. I am married to my husband Blake and we have a 1 year old daughter named Caroline and two fur babies named Dak and Callie.

After graduating from Blue Mountain College in 2015, I immediately accepted my first teaching position in Desoto County. While at Olive Branch Middle School, I taught sixth grade Reading and Language Arts. That year was an amazing growing and learning experience for me as an educator.

This is my fourth year as a part of the Chickasaw family, and I feel truly blessed to be here.  I strive to create and maintain a positive learning environment for my students. As your child's teacher, I want to keep you informed of your child's progress throughout the year. Let's have a fabulous 2020-2021 school year!

Completion of assignments will be used to determine your child's attendance for February 17.
