Anna Carol Lovett
3rd Grade Special Education ELA
About Mrs. Lovett
My name is Anna Carol Lovett. I have two beautiful daughters, Angel and Madison. I am entering my 14th year of teaching. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade, and now I am teaching Special Education ELA. I took a two-year break from teaching when my family moved to New York and Arizona. I missed being in the classroom so much that when I received a call to move back to Gulfport to teach, I jumped at the opportunity to move my girls home. Four years ago, my family and I moved to Olive Branch. It was such an amazing opportunity for us. I am so thankful for the connections of coworkers and friends I have made here at Chickasaw.
I believe in every child that walks through my door. No matter what prior education they have or have not had. I do not accept “I can’t” in my classroom because I believe every child can learn. I strive to create an environment where each child can reach their maximum potential. I will do my part to ensure that every child has a productive year, and I expect every child to do their part in working toward success. I expect every child to follow the rules and procedures of my classroom to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn.
I try to instill in each child in my class a love of learning. I bring enthusiasm and joy into my classroom, hoping that my students can take these traits with them through their school days and beyond!
