Experience

I have been with DeSoto County Schools since 2002.  I worked as an assistant teacher at Olive Branch Elementary School for 9 years.  I began teaching at HSES in 2011 after finishing my Bachelor's in K-3 Education. My name is Amanda Boucher.  I am married to my husband of 28 years, Chuck.  We have 4 wonderful children...Charlie, 26; Steven, 24; Stephanie, 17; and Nolan, 16.  We also have 3 grandsons, Grayson, who is 7 years old and Easton, who is 2, and Gaines, who is a year old.  We live in Olive Branch where our children attend school.  We are a sport-loving and nature-loving family.  You will usually find me on the weekends working in my garden or flower beds, at Strike Zone Bowling Lanes, where Nolan bowls in a youth league, or at OB football games where my daughter and youngest son are on the drumline in the band.
